Allows a rectangular area of the image to be selected. Once selected, all Edit and Modify menu commands may be used to edit the selection. Double-clicking will select the entire pattern.
Selects a new foreground or background color. Hold down the Shift key while selecting a color to select the background color.
Erases to the background color. Double-clicking will erase the entire pattern.
Single pixel or freehand drawing tool. Double-clicking will allow you to change the pencil mode.
Draws single pixels or lines using the foreground color.
Fills enclosed shapes with the foreground color. A shape must be completely by one color for a fill to stop at its boundaries.
Draws filled rectangles using the foreground color. Holding down the Shift key while dragging will constrain to a perfect square.
Draws framed rectangles using the foreground color. Holding down the Shift key while dragging will constrain to a perfect square.
Draws filled ovals using the foreground color. Holding down the Shift key while dragging will constrain to a perfect circle.
Draws framed ovals using the foreground color. Holding down the Shift key while dragging will constrain to a perfect circle.
Selects the foreground color using the Color Picker (see manual).
Selects the background color using the Color Picker (see manual).
Temporarily applies the pattern to the desktop and shrinks the edit window. Clicking again will return to the Editor.
